DFK Canada welcomes new member firm
DFK Canada has welcomed a dynamic new member firm which will be looking to build strong connections within the organisation.
Buckberger Baerg & Partners, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has joined DFK Canada – taking its total number of member firms up to 12.
The accountancy firm was launched just three-and-a-half years ago by eight partners and has seen a considerable amount of growth.
It now boasts 42 members of staff which are highly experienced in meeting the needs of its growing client base by providing attentive, personalised tax and accounting services.
Partner Ashley Buckberger said: “We are very excited to be a part of DFK. The eight partners who launched Buckberger Baerg & Partners all came from a local independent accounting firm which was a member of DFK Canada before that firm merged with a multi-national firm, so we all had prior experience of the organisation.
“Since launching the firm, Vice-President of the Americas region Paul Panabaker has been extremely generous and helped us make connections before we even became members and has also been kind enough to let us join the last conference, so it is clear that DFK is really willing to help us on our journey.
“Being part of the global organisation will be a huge benefit to our clients and there is a lot of expertise we can draw upon.”
DFK Canada President Andrew Logan said gaining Buckberger Baerg & Partners as a member firm was a big win.
He said: “It is excellent to welcome such a fresh, vibrant and growing firm of professionals to DFK Canada.
“Buckberger Baerg & Partners is in its infancy and it will be excellent to help the firm grow. Saskatchewan is a province where there is a lot of economic activity and I am excited to see the firm develop and expand. I think they will be a good fit for DFK Canada.”
Paul Panabaker added: “I’ve had the pleasure of watching BBLLP grow dramatically these last few years.
“They bring a great enthusiasm and desire to learn to DFK Canada and we look forward to a great future as part of the DFK Association.”
